LIFTING TABLE
As the ADE spindle driven roller-cam scissor lift has achieved an international reputation for quality and reliability since 1995, a variant of the ADE roller-cam design, using hydraulic cylinder drive has been introduced as well.
172 of these lift stations were recently selected by General Motors and installed on the final assembly line at Lansing in Michigan USA.
The significant advantage of ADE’s roller-cam design is that the lift load is translated into a virtually constant pull force over the entire lift stroke. This means less resp. minimized wear and a higher mechanical efficiency can be achieved. As a consequence, this design has been widely adopted by systems integrators and the automotive industry as being eminently suitable for continuous, high duty rated manufacturing.
ADE scissor lifts are in general guaranteed for 24 months operation. Maintenance is limited to a single annual inspection. The actuator drive assembly can be interchanged in no more than 15-20 minutes. These are important factors which in addition to the inherent high quality and reliability, explain the very considerable success of the roller-cam scissor lift.
The more recent hydraulic cylinder drive ADE offers a variable speed, quiet running hydraulic power pack or frequency inverter control. The most recent development is a belt drive.
ADE roller-cam scissor lifts are now offered in three variants
